Camping at Hillman Ferry Campground -2011

What a great summer we had this year at Hillman Ferry Campground.  Memories that are priceless have been made - friendships that will last a lifetime made.
The kids enjoyed water skiing on Kentucky Lake, playing corn hole with family and friends, riding a two-seater bike, sitting around the campfire making smores and the list goes on....
One memory sticks out the most.  One night our daughter brought a group of kids to our campsite for hotdogs and smores.  As we began talking to these young boys, we learned they were traveling through the LBL, biking the Underground Railroad.  They were an amazing group of boys and what a story they will have to tell to their children one day.  Our daughter still stays in touch with them.
